Santa Teresa hides many secrets along its hills, and at its top, surrounded by tropical forest and stunning panoramic views of all of Rio de Janeiro, we find this unique mansion. It is impossible not to marvel at the view of Corcovado Mountain, Sugarloaf Mountain and Guanabara Bay from the infinity pool overlooking the city.

The opulent and elaborate decor is complemented by works of local street artists, including many award-winning pieces. The colonial hall is balanced by contemporary design and each of its nine suites, comfortable and cozy, have a unique aesthetic and plenty of privacy. Rooms are divided into two types:

The Deluxe Suite has 40m2, living room, desk, high-end soft bedding, large wardrobe, Bluetooth music, fridge, safe, rain shower and bathtub, Nespresso coffee machine and splendid views of the mountains, the sea and also the Sugarloaf Mountain.

The Deluxe Room measures 20 m2, luxury bedding, large closets, Bluetooth music, refrigerator and safe, a private bathroom with rain shower and of course, panoramic views of the mountains, ocean and Sugarloaf Mountain.

Chez Georges is an architectural heritage of Rio de Janeiro measuring 1000m2, a real hidden gem in the heart of Santa Teresa. Conceived and built by Vladimir Alves de Souza alongside Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier and Oscar Niemeyer, the village, protected by the Atlantic forest, has impressive views of the Sugar Loaf and Guanabara Bay throughout the property and which become even more formidable from its 360º viewpoint on the terrace.

The design of the house is totally unique. With its large arches, the living room with its large glass windows, the vaulted pergola patio and its six-meter-high wooden doors, it became known for its Brutalist Modernist style that mixed concrete and noble woods. In the decor, details that make all the difference, such as handmade fabrics, bamboo seats and cushions picked from Thailand to Europe.

Each of its seven suites, which are named after iconic names in music and comfortably accommodate up to 14 people, is unique. Elegantly decorated with designer furniture and objects, king size beds and charming balconies with views of Sugarloaf Mountain.

For the greater comfort of those who arrive at this charming haven, the house has a panoramic elevator from the street.

Inside, the mansion is designed to provide everything needed for an exceptional stay. The first floor features a grand living room, bar, TV room, dining room, game room, two fully equipped kitchens, a guest bathroom, and one suite. Upstairs, you'll find the master suite, four additional suites, and two more bedrooms that share an external bathroom.

The basic staff includes a caretaker and a cook. Service fees for these staff members (8 hours per day) range from R$250 to R$300 per person and must be paid in advance.
