What guests ask before booking
How much does it cost to charter a yacht in Brazil?
Day charters start around USD 1,200 for a 40-foot boat carrying up to 12 guests, and run to USD 9,000 or more for a 100-foot yacht with full crew. High season, New Year and Carnival carry premium rates. Every quote includes crew, fuel and marina fees for the agreed route.
How many people can come on board?
Brazilian regulations cap day charters by boat size — typically 12 guests on boats under 50 feet, and up to 20 or more on larger yachts. Overnight capacity is lower, since it is limited by the number of cabins.
Can we sleep on the yacht?
Yes, on boats with cabins. In practice most guests stay in a villa and use the yacht by day — the coastline is best explored in daylight, and a villa gives you far more space. We arrange both together.
What happens if the weather turns?
The captain decides on the morning of the charter. If conditions make the day unsafe we reschedule at no cost, or refund in full when no alternative date works. Rain alone rarely cancels a charter in the bay.
How far in advance should we book?
Two to three weeks in normal season. For New Year, Carnival and the December–February peak, book two to three months out — the larger crewed yachts go first.
Do you arrange the yacht together with a villa?
That is the usual arrangement. Our concierge team coordinates the villa, the yacht, transfers, a private chef and anything else the stay needs, on a single itinerary and a single point of contact.
Tell us the dates, how many guests, and which stretch of coast interests you. We come back with two or three boats that actually fit — not a catalogue.
